ok its like a fight between 2 forums , start going to one forum and posting trash eg ill go to your site and start flooding how good landofthebanned.com is and start fight with members on your board. members will go over to fight back and forth between both sites and both forums will have more action.

It isn't a good idea, but it does work. It's quite similar to the streisand effect in the way that the content (or forum) becomes far more popular expect it's due to the 'fighting' rather then censorship.

As the saying goes, there is no such thing as bad publicity

If you did that, you would ruin your forums reputation, there are dozens of forums out there that are just fight forums and they are horrible places. I don't think its worth the risk.

I think that it is a pointless and immature way to get attention and can have more consequences for a forum than benefits.

How does this work. The whole intent of your forum will be geared towards the fighting rather than its original intent
