Forum browsing app

Is there a good forum browsing app on an ipod touch? I would like one that is good to browse mybb and phpbb forums. Best if for all.

Also, do you need an internet connection to use the app?

That is not for Mybb though. I wouldn't recommend it for phpBB to be honest either.

Yes, you do need an internet connection as that is how it gets the information (posts/topics/pm's etc)

Anything other than touchbb. I need it for mybb forum more than phpbb.

MyBB is not widely supported. The only one you'll be able to use at this point is Forum Runner, as far as I know.

So it's either that or nothing.

Just use Safari it is SOOOO much easier, trust me I have tried all the apps. It is so much easier to use the browser.

Tapatalk doesn't support MyBB, you can get their API so you can do it yourself.

Safari on the iPhone/iPod works perfectly, might be a bit slower than actual apps, but it makes the forum look 10x better.

Agreed, a forum I frequently visit has Tapatalk enabled, and it's a great app! I posted a thread about a day ago, asking if we could get it set up here.

If you have MyBB, install MyBBGoMobile. It will automatically have a mobile version if you go to the forum with your handheld.
