Hello FP friends!

I wanted to express my excitement of the opening of Forum Exchange. Forum Exchange is a new webmaster/exchange website with one goal in mind - help you succeed as a webmaster!

Since this is our official opening, we have a couple of things going on.

First, since it's our Grand Opening month, anyone who signs up from 4/1/2018 - 5/1/2018 will get 300 site credits for signing up! It's our "Grand Opening" thank you to those that sign up.

Second, we are running our first contest called "Name On!" It is our contest to engage our community to come up with a name for our website virtual currency. Everyone who submits a name will get 50 site credits just for their submission. Our winner will get 500 credits.

Third, we are looking for some team members for a package team. Currently we are looking for a Package Team Lead as well as Package Team Members.

4/7/2018 Update: ​

Hi Friends!

First, thank you to those that have joined and started to participate! Second, I wanted to apologize for any downtime that you might have experienced. In the initial process of building the website, I had decided to go with one forum platform. As I got into the coding aspect of it I realized that it wasn't going to fit the needs I had for a webmaster style community. However; I am happy to report that I have fixed that and have eliminated some website bloat.

Promotion Directory :
I forgot to place a URL field! That seems like one of the most important aspects of a promotion directory! I'm honestly astonished I forgot it!

Forum:
This is one of the largest fixes I made in the last two days. I've basically replaced it totally. The new forum is basically the same as the old one but has some forum caching, database caching to help with load times. I also have added usergroups and usergroup permissions. The user profile has had a total overhaul. In the coming weeks I'll be adding topic labels back as well as pre-defined replies for the package team.

Package Request:
This is being totally overhauled. I should have it back in order within the next week.

I will try to update you all with new information at least once every two weeks. Thanks again for all of those who joined and are helping grow the community. We are still running a "Grand Opening" credits reward promotion until the end of the month annd our site currency naming contest is still going on. Stop by and say hello and drop your site currency suggestion to earn an additional 50 credits.

4/7/2018 - Evening Update

I forgot to mention one of the important parts of the site for Package Team Members. I am in the process of finishing up the page where PTMs would submit how many topics and replies they have completed. Once they submit that form, it will calculate how many site credits they are owed. Once that information is verified by the Package Team Lead/Admin, a simple click of a "Pay" button will automatically send the credits. I hope that this little feature will help bring on good Package Team Members as well as help the Admin (myself included) and Team Leads life a little easier.

6/23/2019 - Update

After some setbacks and some self reflection, I'm ready to post an update about Forum Exchange. Looking forward to seeing you over at FE and your feedback here at Forum Promotion.

Marketplace (beta)
Prior, the marketplace was just a standard forum with some thread prefixes. This is a great way to get a marketplace forum going but it lacks a true "marketplace" feeling. I wanted something a little more "in depth" for FE users. So, after A LOT of coding, tweaking, and pulling my hair out over responsive css - I'm happy to show you the FE Marketplace. As it rolls out of beta, I plan to introduce a feedback/reputation system.





Services Feedback
Services of any exchange website is critical for the webmaster and team. Again, standard forums with prefixes are an effective way to do this - but it lacks that "feedback/testimonial" feel. So, we created our "Services Feedback" forum for our community members who use our services.





Promotion Directory
What is an exchange community without some promoting? Our promotion directory will help you get your website information out on the web. There is no longer a need for users to upload images of their websites (unless they want additional ones). Our site thumbnail API will automatically grab that website image and save it to the site for use.

Hey jazz, thank you for your kind comments. It took me a bit to get it to look like that and Xthreads is just an added bonus to the site.
