Forum Flavor - thoughts?

It seems rather messy. You either need to faintly divide the columns, or add extra padding. Those "read more" buttons are out of proportion though. Also, maybe rethinking what images you use for the previews is something worth considering. You want that professionalism, but also colour. Right now, those images aren't attracting anything, so it doesn't make me want to read further.
 
I really enjoyed reading some of your posts, and I think this can turn into something great. One thing I would suggest is adding a break or "More" in your posts. Otherwise, your articles will be broken off in the middle of a sentence on the front page.

About the images: I plan to start using images like I did in my most recent ones, screen shots of sites and stuff, instead of the icons that are previous images. Hopefully that will help.

And I'll try to add in a more line from now on. 🙂

It's really nice and clean, colors are nice. It would be cool to see a featured post slider up on the index 😉

I've thought about it, but eventually decided that it would distract from the content too much. Maybe if/when I get another theme I'll get one that has a better slider placement.
 
I would think it would do the opposite(attract attention to the content), but that's your call. :great:
 
In a way yes, but I don't like the slider so there won't be one (for now).
 
It's a bit simplistic in my opinion, it looks professional, but what makes your site different than the rest which hold the same cliche as what yours does?
 
In a niche where what one says is largely opinion, I think the biggest thing I have to offer is another look at things and offering my views and advice to other admins. Other blogs may do that as well, but they offer their opinions which are undoubtedly going to be different than mine on multiple issues. For example, Tindris and JLogan both have their admin/webmaster blogs. However, the three of us don't agree on every single subject (far from it) and that's alright. Readers can read all of our articles and form their opinions, which may be different than any one of ours, and that's alright too because they still got information from each of our articles.
