When I had a forum it was about having some active members to always be able to chat too, plus I thought post count was important - but I’ve found it isn’t.
I run a support forum and want the focus to be people helping each other learn and customize our products, and minimize how many bug reports are filed.
For my support forum, the plan long term, is to finally get around to having enough users to support itself in the support boards, without having me to get involved.
Right now.....I'm just trying to make it to having 100 members registered on the forum. When first starting a forum, that seems like a far away number (to me, anyway).
