FORUM HACKED

My forum http://pokeglobeunion.forumotion.com/ was hacked.

Any thoughts on what newfree host to switch to, cuz I'm never using forumotion again

Tough luck. that must really suck.

I'd honestly recommend not going with a free host. But I understand if you're limited to hosting funds.

Nope I'll have to think about it. If not I may do Zetaboards.

If you go with Zetaboards, take into account that you can't make backups so if your hacked on it, you'd have to start over again.

Pretty sure forummotion has backups they can take it back a day or so, just contact them.

I tried the backups, it restored posts but on the front page they dont show up. and forums post count was reset

I recommend trying out a Post2Host web hosting company.

Pretty sure forummotion has backups they can take it back a day or so, just contact them.

You have to make the backups yourself for real results, otherwise it's mainly once a week or maybe month which they automatically do. Above that, the backups they provide a a bit sketchy.
