Forum hosting?

Ok, i want to start a forum and i need a host.

My friends said i should use this Forumer

They said it had like PHPBB and IBP boards and a support forum.

Thoughts?
 
I hear forumotion is good. I've never used them personally though as I use paid hosting.
 
Use that or FreeForums

They offer topnotch support and they install mods too!
 
lol this is someone advertising for forumer. If you copy that into google search, you'll see the same exact post all over the place. Don't you need 4 posts to advertise on here??

This is support for him asking where to get his forum from.
 
Ok, thanks for making that clear. Now what I'm pointing out is the topic starter's post is like a hidden advertisement. The forumer text is a link, and he goes around posting the same exact message on other forums, and doesn't return. So really it's not a question which forum host to use, but another way to spread the word about forumer. But, you already said it's not breaking any rules so I guess no harm is done.
 
Yep me and HB. know fine well that it really is an advertisement. He does it on forums on all over. But it is a real user that posts it because he posts in the right sections except a it is a forumer owner/team member or it is a member paid to advertise for them.
 
I prefer Forumotion, but I saw a perfect host- It was the best ever, but I can't find the site anymore... 🙁
 
All of the forums that i've ever made have been using Forumotion. It's an excellent service with free, reliable forum hosting.


The Downside: They have not upgraded anything in years....it gets really really reppettitive seeing the same things over and over.
