On your forum, do you use or have you considered using forum icons?

For the majority of the time people tend to sya they look "kiddy" or "cartoony", although on the other hand if you find the right ones and format them correctly I have found they can look quite professional and add an extra level of accessibility to your site.

What do you think? Do you use forum icons? Would you consider using them? If not, why?

I like it when forums have them aslong as they look nice and smart. I don't like it when they ruin the skin and look horrible though, or when they have them really big.

I dont use them on Blue Humor, as id need too many of them, and that I think can look badly. However, on SS, ive found a great way to allow them to blend into the forum itself. These are linking forums, btw;



Since BitTorrent is a means of sharing, its included on the site. Theres links to two torrent sites, and torrent news. I used the sites logo's slightly changed to fit with the theme.
