Okay, so I have created two sites where I have offered EVERYTHING that the members wanted. They were both anime/manga sites. One was a Naruto site and one (the current one) is a Bleach site. On my Naruto site, my members wanted to have a popular manga selection. So I added that, hm, ever since than I have been adding the popular manga section to my site. But still activity drops. Now, my Bleach site, the one I am talking about (in the title) is a fairly new site. So I would like some input if its possible. Thank you ^^

Your forum has low activity because it is new, because the design stings my retina and because it is on a free forum host.

Move to independent hosting, with a tld.

Get a new design, a nice one.

Give it some time, around a year.

I wish I could get an independent host, but I can't.

As for the design, I realize that the colors are horrid, but like I said, its a new forum.

Thank you for your honest criticism ^^

Because its paid hosting. Don't get me wrong, I might be a teenager but I know my way around a computer. But I can't go throwing away my fathers money.

Byet provides you with an ad-free load balanced free hosting service including PHP, MySQL, FTP, Vistapanel & more!.

For any web site from a small business brochure, pictures of a tropical holiday, to powerful dynamic websites for a gaming clan etc, Byet Internet has the right services for you and at the right price... $0.00!

That is why I linked you to a free host.

I seen D: Um. Its really slow and I have a fast internet connectivity and fast processing. I am also running Mozilla Firefox.

It's just new, forums take a while to take off. Just advertise, advertise, advertise!

It only new As Hio said Promote,Promote & Promote

And there is a way to move all your data of forumotion

(i can offer hosting on my site if you like just untill you get a host)

It looks nice, get some more content so it doesn't look empty in many of the areas and then try to find poeple that like Bleach.

Run some contest while you advertise and shamelessly use it as a hook to attract people into joining. If you keep content and some contest you could get a stable members that wuill regularly visit.

I wouldn't worry much for TLD, maybe about forumotion. I am in Forumotion too and it has been great. The downside is not having the database. if you stay five years, start working and decide you want to host it you will have to start over because FM won't let you take their DB. They are already blocking crawlersby preventing them to grab email address through the admin panel.

Really, if you are comfortable where you are then the important thing is to have patience and be constant. Not all forums grow at the same rhythm so don't get frustrated if it doesn't grow in the same way your past one did.
