Forum Mods can ban people in Chat? (PHPbb)

Okay, so I made a group called Forum mod. I gave them all posting permissions and forum permissions, but they can ban people in chat. Help please?

What do you mean by Chat Mod? I use AJAX Chat.

There should be settings in the module for Ajax Chat, correct? Is there anything to do with permissions in there?

Hi,

Does that group happen to have any administrative powers? The only people that should be able to ban in chat are people with admin powers as far as I'm aware.

In any case, Freeforums will be removing ajax chat from it's system because of it's unreliability we are just looking for a replace chat system first.
