Forum owners - phpBB 3.0.3 released

I have just updated this forum and we have hell of alot of conflicts... About half the page were files with conflicts -bigeyes-

We have had a few problems with the cash mod since the update and another little issue so if anybody find anything wrong here please tell me -🙂-

I just downloaded 3.0.3 and it seems to be loading alot faster on my localhost than 3.0.2 was running. :O

Oh, and the advanced quick reply MOD will need some code changes, it appears fine, but when you reply, and it refreshes the page, it adds coding next to your name...so yeah...

I got lucky and just saw the new version cause I went to download another copy of phpBB for a new site im starting, if I havnt I would have completly missed the update.

Can you explain the quick reply problem a bit more?... I can't see any problems with it -~-

is it really worth it to update to 3.0.3 right now? I was going to but then I saw this thread. 3.0.2 works just fine for me

Ah, wow. Its just my quick reply thats messedup I guess. I suppose ill need to reinstall most of it. I think theres an issue with something else I have installed. Sorry about that Fowler, yours is working fine -lol-

Yes as phpbb.com no longer support 3.0.2.

No problem Ghost -lol-

Chelseaboy26, is is always good to keep up to date not only to get support but it is good for security and performance wise too. In every release there are always a large about of bug fixes and performance tweaks along with some security changes or possible security problems which they have fixed.

Also if there is a massive security issue that gets fixed in phpBB 3.0.4 then you would have to update to 3.0.3 then update to 3.0.4 to fix the security problem unless you want to lose all your mods so it is better to keep up to date now incase in the future there is a release you really need to update too.

My stupid mods screwed up the conversion. Registrations on both my forums were offline for a couple days due to the reputation mod but all is well now. -8)-

Just had a horrible time updating my phpBB styles to 3.0.3, the code edits for Prosilver are huge.

All done now though, zipped up and sent off ~cheesey_grin~
