Three weeks ago, we announced Forum Promotion 3.1, an update which will bring a tide of change to Forum Promotion, ranging from an all-new theme, to simpler guidelines and services. Today, we have completed Phase II of these updates, which bring a good number of improvements and optimizations to Forum Promotion. Also, we are announcing a number of additional updates about Phase III, which will be the boldest stage of our 3.1 update.
NEW! Official Extensions
The Forum Promotion Development Team has been working, over the past few months, to improve FP by writing all-new extensions for phpBB 3.1. We have decided to give back to the community by making many of these extensions free and open source. Some of these extensions are now available for discussion and download here, so check them out! If you have any suggestions for new extensions, feel free to let us know here.
NEW! Terms of Service
Today, we have launched our new terms of service, which are much clearer about your rights as members of Forum Promotion. You can read these new Terms of Service here. The primary difference in our new terms is this: we make it clear that you own everything you post on Forum Promotion, but also that if you request the content you uploaded to be deleted, we can decide whether or not to delete it. Please take this opportunity to look through our new terms of service, and direct any questions to a member of the Administrative Team.
UPDATED! Promotion Directory
Today, we are making several changes to the Promotion Directory, to help make it easier to use for everyone. First, we have changed the directory to show 30 topics on each page instead of 20. This will mean that your topic stays on page one longer. Second, we have streamlined and optimized the forum rules to be as simple as possible. Please check out the Promotion Directory Guidelines, and the rule box at the top of the forum. Finally, we have removed prefixes from the forum, to help reduce clutter, and make the directory much easier to read.
COMING SOON! New Design
Over the past few weeks, we have been hard at work creating a new look and feel for Forum Promotion. Today, we are finally ready to release a quick glimpse of the new style. Here it is!
One week from today, we will be releasing a second screenshot of our progress on the theme, and we will continue to keep you updated every seven days with a new glimpse at FP's new look!

Over the past few weeks, our progress on FP 3.1 has been measured in leaps and bounds. Not only do we have the draft of a beautiful theme, but we have also made excellent progress in planning out Forum Promotion's future for the next few months, and years. At Forum Promotion, we are truly honored to have members who keep coming back, and over the next few months, we will be making FP an even better place which will have a more comfortable feel, a simpler experience, and a brighter future.
