Forum Promotion on Twitter

I have read through some posts that mention twitter. I know not to spam, and to practice ethical twitter usage. I just want to know if anyone has any advice for using twitter effectively. Our twitter feed is also incorporated into the site header http://www.buildpcs.com/.

You could post links to intresting topics, or topics that have been discussed a lot. For an example, you could look at FP's twitter feed: https://twitter.com/#!/ForumPromotion. 🙂

Thanks for the tip. I do follow a bunch of interesting tech feeds and such, which I am always happy to retweet and give credit to for the useful info. What are some good ways to be noticed by people who aren't following you yet?

You could try finding people who follow other twitter accounts that have the same genre as you, and follow them.
