Forum Promotion/Support Sites

I was looking around the net on these boards, and there are hundreds of them, they pf coarse are for various boards out there, but i was thinking, what makes them work, when there are so many out there doing the same thing and at times for the same server. I have counted 6 active ones for Zeta Boards, $ active for MyBB and various others. The point is, would it be worth attempting to put another one out there amongst the competition there is now, and would it be more better to have a board like that , that caters for all different servers and having to consider the size the board would have to be.

The reason i ask, is i have got one such board, i made it, but never released it, never been posted on, has no members but me, reason is i saw so many out there i thought , what is the point, having to get members with knowledge of different servers, coding and graphics members. All that stuff. So at the moment that site just lays dormant.

It's always worth if you researched your competitors and know that you will provide better service/faster service than most of them 😀

Yeah i have been doing just that, i might start building it up slowly as it is only me at the moment

Many people will join promotion forums, it's easy advertising. I think because there are so many it's hard finding that "uniqueness" however since you have done your research you can easily outdo your competition depending upon what you can offer vs. what they offer. I would go for it. ^.^

There's too many out there, in my opinion.

There are a lot of them out there. You could whip one up in a few minutes, on a free host / with no proper domain and people would still join it. Admin's need places to promote their forum, but a lot of those places are a waste of time & yield little to no results.
