What is this service about?

Forum Redirect Link is one of our newest services on FP. This is a new service with a twist.

The idea of this service is that users can bid to have a redirect forum on the forum index page for a week. Each week there will be a bidding topic allowing users to bid for the redirect forum. The highest bidder at the end of the week will have their site added. Bidding will then start again from the starting bid amount. Any site that is permitted to be promoted and advertised on this forum here can enter.

Bidding

Bidding will end at different times each week in able to ensure it takes into account users timezones. Bidding will start at 30 FP cash and all bids must be atleast 10 FP cash higher then the previous bid. There is no limit on the number of bids you can make per week. In your first bid, please supply the forum url you would like to have added. That will allow us to add your site faster if you win the bidding.

Guidelines

• Your bid must be atleast 10 FP cash higher then the previous bid
• In your first bid, please supply your forum URL and that will allow us to easily add your site if you are a winner.
• We reserve the right to remove bids for any reasons we deem necessary
• If you win the bidding for this service, you can not bid again in the following 3 bidding topics to help give everyone a change.
• You must have the amount of cash you are bidding. If you make a bid and you do not have that amount already, your bid will be ignore and deleted

There isn't much spam on these boards. Also posting on Forum Promotion is one of the slowest ways to get FP$.

Ultimately this service is more aimed at the richer members who have contributed the most either through posting here or helping other people and on their forums. This was specified in the announcement. There are many services aimed at users with not so much cash... Signature ads, banner ads, reviews, packages, bubble ads and to a limited extent the Featured Forums could be classed in that area aswell. There are 2 which are really aimed at the richer members and again the featured forums may feature in the category also. Either way more services favour the non rich members. This just rewards the richer members.
