Your Forum Review

First Impressions & Appearance - (Out of 20)
Your banner at the top is cute, but the rest of the theme is quite plain and boring. I would definitely recommend choosing a different one that looks more unique. I feel like I've seen themes like yours a billion times. A more unique theme would help your forum stand out more to prospective members. Right now, there's not enough to make your forum stick out in peoples' minds.

Your forum also doesn't look especially active at first glance. Although you don't have any empty forums on your index, your statistics are pretty low. I would definitely recommend doing some post exchanges to make your forum look more active to prospective members visiting your forum.

Sorry to say it, but my first impression of your forum was negative.

Site Layout - (Out of 20)
Your index doesn't run too long, but the way it's organized is a bit awkward! You have eight forums in one category, and that just looks awkward. I would recommend doing away with the "Activities" forum or making it a sub-forum under your news forum. You probably don't have too many activities going on right now, so I don't think it needs to be on the index at this time. You could always just make topics in your news forum for each new activity. You may also consider making your staff forum invisible to regular users. Not only is it inflating the category, but it seems a little "in-your-face" to have it visible to members who don't have access. Does that make sense? These changes will make your layout look less awkward.

Statistics and Activity - (Out of 20)
According to my calculations, your forum currently receives about twenty posts per day, and you have about eighteen posts for each of your twenty-one members. That's not horrible (especially considering that your forum is very new), but there is certainly room for improvement. I would definitely recommend doing some post exchanges to make your forum appear more active to prospective members. After you have a good amount of start-up posts, you can begin advertising. You may consider signing up to other general discussion forums (several are advertised here at Forum Promotion) and posting around a bit wearing a URL to your forum or a signature banner. This may attract the eyes of some users. You may also consider using the services offered here at Forum Promotion and abroad. If you can make a good advertisement banner/button, then you may attract the attention of some potential members. If you haven't already, try to get some of your friends to sign up and post (assuming you have friends who use forums). In the beginning, every little bit counts!

Staff Moderation - (Out of 20)
If I can count, your forum currently employs one moderator and one administrator. That seems like a sufficient staff to start with, and I wouldn't recommend hiring any more at this time. It looks like you and your moderator are quite active on the forum, and it looks like you're doing a good job of welcoming new members. I don't think that you have any staffing issues at this time.

Spelling/Grammar & Professionalism - (Out of 20)
Although you have a few grammar mistakes sprinkled in here and there (which a proofread would probably take care of), you have some really fantastic descriptions! I can tell that you've put some actual thought into them. It seems like you're literally talking to the member who's reading the descriptions and telling them about your forum. I really don't believe that you need to change your descriptions at all; you've really done a good job with them!

Score - 75 (Out of 100)

Closing remarks: Although your forum has its problems, I'd say you're off to a good start.

Forum's strong points: Your descriptions are really great. They make your forum sound interesting.

Improvements to make: I think you need a new theme.
