First Impressions & Appearance - (Out of 20)
-My first impressions were very good. I wish I could keep these feeling throughout, but I digress.
-The first thing I noticed was the great Ferrari theme. It is red, of course, matching the Ferrari color. I also like the forum icons, the red "New Post" and gray "No New Posts" icons.
-The banner is pretty good. I like that is not only has a Ferrari on it, but also the Ferrari logo. However, the text is hard to read. The "R's" don't really look much like r's to be honest. But other than that, they look good.
-Another thing I loved, that I almost missed, was the footer at the bottom of the page with the other banner. It looks great, but look at the word on the right. The I in "Ferrari" is cut out. It just says "Ferrar".

Site Layout - (Out of 20)
-The only major beef I have with the layout is the combination of the forum news and Ferrari news. They are two completely different things. One deals with the well-being of the forum, and the other a famous car company. They would be better organized as two separate forums.
-I think the "Driver's lounge" or general section should go at the bottom, after the Ferrari talk. It is off-topic and not really what draws people to the forum, and it seems awkward in the middle of a Ferrari section.
-I like the navigation on the right, showing Ferrari cars, drivers, etc. However, the gallery for the cars is very incomplete. That would be a great feature if it is completed.

Statistics and Activity - (Out of 20)
-I think we can both agree that the statistics are not good. It has been two and a half years. The forum barely averages over one post per day.
-There are only 20 active members out of 217 total members. That is less than 10%. 90% of your members do not come and post anymore.
-The administrator, Matt, has 656 posts, which is almost half of the total post count. That is horrible, that means mostly staff are posting, not members.
-There is some posting going on now. I see several forums with the last post being today or yesterday, but many have not been posted in for months.

Staff Moderation - (Out of 20)
-I see five moderators and two administrators. Active or not, that is way too many for a forum this small. What is the point of having seven staff members if the forum is this inactive?
-Once again, the five moderators. This makes the forum seem staff-dominated, not member-friendly. It may be daunting to new members, or those members who you are trying to get to return. Lots of staff may give the appearance that bad things happen on the forum, or that the owner is paranoid.
-I think you should either fire some of these staff and/or change them to promoters. The forum needs activity, not staff. They can return to moderating duties when the forum is active.

Spelling/Grammar & Professionalism - (Out of 20)
-I cannot find any spelling or grammar errors. This is the best part of the forum so far, tying with the appearance. I like that the forum seems very professional. Given that Ferrari is such a well-known, respected, professional company, it is good to see that the Ferrari forum is professional as well.

Final Remarks: Don't think of this as a trolling of the forum. I love Ferraris, and I have nothing against the forum. I just think there are several things to work on, mainly activity and staff. If you increase activity, the forum will thrive. Try to get staff to focus on promoting the forum on other sites, sig ads, etc. Maybe try a referral contest, posting packages, or anything else that is similar. Try anything, it can't hurt.
What was most liked about the website/forums: The layout/theme.
