Forum Pros:
I know the FAQ comes with your forum software...but I like it a lot. It's the first time I have ever looked at an FAQ and it looks great on your site!
The banner (except Emperor) looks fine, but it doesn't really fit your forum's topic. Try getting something more technology related. Or maybe something with a digital drawing of a computer or keyboard. Just don't copy FP.
Icons for active or old forums look great. They fit your style great and they look very professional.
Forum Cons:
Too dark. You should try to pick something more neutral. Pick something in the middle. I am a huge fan of brighter styles.
Emperor...I am assuming that that is the name of the style you are using. Get a custom banner if you can. You can try going to a graphics forum and requesting one or requesting one here at FP. I heard they do a great job as well.
You are using a free forum host/service. Oh well. Not everyone has the money for a domain and hosting, but if you ever have the opportunity then go for it!
Final/General Thoughts:
You should definitely change styles to something more tech-related and get a custom banner if you plan on sticking with your current default style.
