Forum software with portal system?

I'm going to make a website for.. Let's call it a club that needs to have news about the club, updates on competitions and both private and public forum as well as user galleries etc.
It needs to be configurable to support a xp system that admin and mods can access where xp is given for coming to meetings and other club events.

Does anyone have a suggestion for what forum software to use?

phpBB can do this with mods, as can MyBB. I believe SMF can as well. In fact, any forum saoftware will be able to with a bit of modding. 😛

Everything but the XP system I know is easy with vBulletin, and I'm sure there's an XP mod you can find if you look.
