Forum Stat Counters?

ive only used statcounter.com which is ok but id like another counter that goes into more detail and depth. ive tried at least 20 or more from searching on google that i didnt like, can anyone suggest some?

I have used http://gostats.com/ before,thought it was ok. Not sure if you already used it though.

thanks wolfy it looks very useful but i couldnt find a feature like the one i love on statcounter. recent came from which links the entry and then the page they visited on your site rite next to it

I use a combination of Google Analytics, Webalizer, and AWStats. The last two are built into cPanel.

tunescool what detail do you want that is not provided by StatCounter?

Even though analytic state that you have to add it before the closing header tag, you can put it directly in the coding of the forum itself, since proboards has yet to allow more customization.

well i would like a longer list i can see of the last pages viewed and the sites address they came from. statcounter only goes back like 5 -6 hours and i dont want to miss a link, especially a link exchange ive made or something.

i do have google analytics but ive never really looked at it for some reason. thanks for mentioning it i didnt even have it bookmarked it, ill start watching it. does it have a list in order of when people entered and what page they came in thru or the what link they hit to get there? im looking at it now but just wanna close this window

Awstats is a nice way of determining hits on the hosting account, rather than the site itself. I think Awstats provides more accurate readings than GA, but both are genuinely good at displaying reasonably accurate results.
