People keep saying my site theme is bad. I don't know what to do with it.

Get rid of it. That is (excuse my french) the ugliest piece of **** that I have seen. The colors do not fit well, and it burnt my eyes as soon as I loaded the page.

theres to much going on in it, some of the colours make my eyes hurt - it the green and red. also, for me the green text is hard to red on the red background

id suggest find a new template that fits the topic of the forum more

Ouch. "The awesomeness, it burns!" Something burns, but its not awesome. The skin needs work, and lots of it. Google for a skin, theyre not hard to find at all. The banner...wow...prehaps get someone here to make you one, it burns x.x

You should talk about a bad looking banner,take a look at your own.

For osh: On my board we have a section for smfforfree skins so feel free to come take a look(No not advertising,just helping out)

With your banner, and icons that remind me of the ancient "Asteroids" game, i am not real sure you should be giving too much advice out.


To the OP. I would be more inclined to start fresh, get a basic skin set up and running A.S.A.P. Then bring in bit by bit , the personal touches you want added, without going overboard.

Yes, that is quite terrible I hate to say, maybe if you download a new one from a template/theme site..
There are hundreds around..
Just have a look around.
Did you make that terrible one? (No offence)
