They now offer a .forum domain TLD.

I'm still old school and on the .com-only train. I have a few of the newer .blog ones but even then, I always want to go to a .com first.

How about you?

Could you use the .forum over a .com? Or are you like me and too much of a .com fanboy?

.forum is too expensive IMO. I do use different domain names like .ing, .zone, and .one so I'm no stranger to different TLD. If I ever seen a .forum for cheap maybe I'd use it for a project.

.com has that classic vibe. But I’ve gotta say, .forum sounds pretty intriguing for community-driven spaces.

Very expensive, especially the prices on renewals for a .forum.

If .forum allowed me to purchase the domain that I wanted I'd go for it. What I really want though is for .music to be made available.

I prefer .forum extension it is more suitable to forums
Why is that? .com and .net have been suitable for forums for many years now. There’s been plenty of online communities that have done well without the .forum extension.

The extension is also expensive, so it’s not really a wise decision for an upcoming forum owner to use it over a .com or a .net extension.
