Forum vs. Social Media

So, where do you prefer to hang out the most?

Forums or social media?

Personally, I love forums. I am not anti-social media though.But there is something about forums that I love. I actually visit FP probably 20-30 times a day! lol

I'm Team Forum. Don't care for Social Media. The feel, the vibe is just much better on forums. I think we are a friendlier bunch lol

I'll do forums but I won't do social media for the reason that I find those platforms to be toxic and invasive.

During the day I do forums and then switch to Facebook to catch up with family and friends in the evening. I'll scroll through some of the Groups I'm in on Facebook as well because I can't find some of the up-to-date information I need for some things (my PEG allergy) on forums.

I tend to do forums most of the time however Twitch and also YouTube I'm on allot also comes down to social media. So I tend to me everywhere

Prefer forums over social media with me being older than social media and used forums before social media was even thought of, so as a long time internet user i would prefer forums anyday

few reason is because of the community around the forum and its moderation around content, i feel social media do not care about its users and only care about numbers that use their services. when it comes to most forums i believe the teams who run them and the members are passionate about the topics the forums are about and do care for its members/users, to protect and ensure its a safe environment for their members too.

so yes forums rule over social media anyday.

I use both honestly and am a mixed bag. I will post on forums and also on my social media pages all the time.
