First Impressions![]()
As I viewed your forum for the first time, I noticed that for a forum that is supposed to be a general sports forum, that it lacked the luster that I commonly see on sports forums. Mainly that of the fact that the design didn't exactly shoot out to me as being one for a sports forum. I know getting a theme can be difficult, and getting icons to match the boards can be frustrating, but the theme itself doesn't help me identify with the forum genre. Sure, you have a good banner and matching icons, but it might help you out a little, if you found something to add to help the forum stand out a little more as a sports forum. Maybe try adding category gradients that have various sports as the image for the backgrounds of each category you want to add emphasis to.
Another thing to add, is that of board descriptions. Having longer board descriptions will help make the index of your forum more full looking. Having more text does help with the basic appearances of the forum, and it can help draw more people into certain boards if you do add longer descriptions to each board.
If I were to join your forum, the above would be the first couple of things that would help me decide whether or not to join.

Site Statistics![]()
From what I noticed, the forum was created at the beginning of the month, no? If so, having nearly 225 posts, and 85 threads by this time of the month can be seen as pretty good for the starting month, but not the best.
What I see a major lack of, if you do want to get your forum out there with more members posting on it, is the lack of topics in most of the forums. That is thing that will help drive future traffic, and make my "pretty good", into a great, and possibly an excellent, if this is done right. Even if you have to get news on each sport, then that will help with beginning the forum with content that can be discussed.
An another thing that will help, is to reply to every topic as much as you can, even if it is just you and an another user talking, then atleast there will be some discussion going on in the topics. This is the second most important part that you can do to help with content creation on your forum, that is that of actual active replies to topics, as the discussion to those start moving forward. The more replies to a topic, the more encouragement that most users will have to create more topics, which will then lead you to more discussions in those new topics.
And I also have noticed a number of your boards are subboards. Though they are hidden from the index, they need to be filled with topics.
Remember, topic creation is the key to establishing a forum, and starting discussions on the various things you have on your forum.

Originality![]()
To be honest, the originality of the forum isn't that great as I have seen a number of general forums for sports that don't always start off that well. Though, what you did do for the subboards is what really helped me notice that it wasn't just an another "run of the mill" general sports forum. I like the fact that you have boards for each sub-division of each main sport in the U.S.
So, if you fill in the content to those sections, then the originality of the forum wouldn't matter as much, because you would have actual discussions people can participate in. 🙂
Good
Final RemarksFind images to help brand your forum, and fill in the boards with more content, and you will be set to start out the forum!
Good luck!

I would recommend working on your forum descriptions a little bit. I would just make them a little bit longer.
I think your biggest problem is that you are lacking some high quality posts and topics. I think that should be your main focus. Don't worry about the general chat section. Really build a solid post count and good topics in your sports sections. Especially in the gaming section. Maybe instead of each topic having a separate forum, you can instead create one called Sports Gaming. That way you can build post counts in there with all kinds of video games like soccer, golf, Wii sports, NBA, NFL, hockey, etc.

Ah I see, I will try my best to lessen up all the topics/separate forums.
I will also try to get in more high quality topics 🙂
