I was told there was a way to get your forumotion database? Is this posisble.
I am in a situation where another site, "our competitior" is potentially trying to get us shutdown and I would like to figure a way to get the database of my forum.
There is no real easy way to get old of a backup of your information from forumotion. Ultimately the forum host will only delete your forum if they have a valid reason to do so. If your forum is inside the ToS of forumotion then forumotion shouldn't take down your forum. No matter what people complain about. I wouldn't worry to much about people making silly claims to your host unless their claims are valid.
Eh they are sort of valid. Both my site and the other site have been engaged in a site war between the two for months now and words have been through by both sites however i was under the impression that it was dead and done with
obviously not for them so i am basically looking for a backup plan....
If you've done wrong then Forumotion won't give you a copy of the database by just asking for it. Might I ask what you've done and why they are to quote you, "sort of valid" for having your site closed?
I mean there has been bashing insult on my end(and my members) end on our site, immature I know as well as the other site also has engaged in the same bashing. Insults have been thrown around and all that.....
As i said i was under the impression that the site drama was winding down but obviously not lol.....

Austin is good at getting Databases of Forumotion But i think you better get your forum of theme otherwise forumotion might get sick of these request and close your forum just to get the request block.
