Forumotion Exporter

Looking to purchase an active Forumotion export script (scans forums, posts, threads, and user IDs to tie it back and be able to insert into any common forum software such as phpBB). Since emails and passwords cannot be tied back or exported out, these features can be empty but enough to be inserted into a phpBB database easily.

Did you try that website copying script (httrack)? I found it on the PHPBB forum. It is kind of old tho.

That would be hard to export into a database though, as that copys the html files right?

How big is your database?

That would be hard to export into a database though, as that copys the html files right?

I didn't read to much more on it really. It is old, so I don't think it will work. There is a whole topic on it on PHPBB.

I have not used Forumotion much at all. But from what I read, you can't get backups to restore to a new database other than to Forumotion itself.

That's why you would use a scrapper. Which is against their TOS, but like, what are they really going to do Once it's scrapped, delete all the data, then move on.

I never have used a scrapper I don't think. Done a good a mount of database stuff in my time.
