Lol, now this was quite funny.

Caihlem issued me a warning on forumotion just because I asked when forumotion was made.

Who likes forumotion anyway?

Its horrible. The forums look terrible, its good for very new forum owners as a first forum, but it is hard to get one looking nice and have a nice activity. I agree, its terrible. I never hosted with them, and I still tell people to goto InvisionFree over ANY free phpBB host. Even though InvisionFree is very old, its still better software than any free phpBB host can offer. A normally hosted copy of phpBB beats IF, but not a freely hosted one.

IF offers more although they are not the best IPB host by far... They are one of the least safest as IF forums are forever being taken over through their bad security.

They never update their software and you look at the amount of ways to hack the 1.3 version it ridiculous.

Forumotion isn't bad, in my opinion. Their themes are fully customizeable, so unless you're absolutely horrible at designing/coding, then customizing your own theme skin to look nice isn't hard at all.

I hosted once with forumotion and everything about the host is not the greatest. Their skins and such are bad and I never figured out how to get a phpbb3 forum if they ever offered it.
