Uptime and Reliability: It may go down at times. But only for a few minutes,
Technical Support: They use a forum. Reliability and time vary depending on who answers. In general it's not too bad but many times other customers bother you.
Customer Support: The same as Technical support
Pros: It's free and great for new forum users! (Very simple)
Cons: Removing ads is expencive, more space is expencive and a .com domain is 20$. Also you can't transfer domains.

I remember forumotion. My first forum was on forumotion and it was okay. I didn't really use their support since I had no problems with it. Yes, forumotion is quite costly for domains and ad removal but I was always on a sub domain. Its good to start off but the only problem is you can't switch to cPanel hosting.

Personally, I hate Forumotion with a passion. They were on of the first hosts I ever used and my experience there was awful. You gave them 6 out of 10? I wouldn't have even given them three out of ten. Heck, I'd probably give them zero out of ten. When I was with them, my site was down almost every weekend, which made it hard for me when I came to sites like this one to request a package. I had a heck of a time explaining to the PT here that the constant downtime wasn't my fault, and I've even had a couple packages denied because of the host's stupidity. With sites like FP where there's strict criteria involved when requesting a package or other services, Forumotion is a standing joke. I refuse to recommend these guys to anybody.
