There was already myspace, there was no need for facebook. Yet, myspace is lost and facebook became number one. There is always room for everything.

MySpace didn't have the sharing power that Facebook and other social media platforms do. That's why it lost out.

There are reasons why myspace lost to facebook but my point is forums can still exist despite the growth of social sites, Reddit is a forum and it is very powerful.

I made a article about this on my website but I don’t want to self advertise but the way I see it is Facebook and Facebook Groups or Discord are for simple things, Search engines barely index it’s content.

But forums & blogs are for meanful deep discussions, forums are also more organised, this feed approach is just addictive but it’s messy when trying to find posts.

I have noticed it’s between aged between 23 - 60ish that are more prone to use forums I’ve noticed but we are sane because forums are still amazing 😀

They’ve gotten use to TikTok even though the app is just low quality content imo.
