Forums dying down?

Dying. Not Dyeing. Completely different meanings lol 😉.

I think they are decreasing but will never actually die. Many people still prefer them over social networks.

I agree that it would be more accurate to say that forums are decreasing in amount. Have people lost interest in making them? Some have, I'm sure, but I don't believe that forums will be out of the Internet picture completely.

Well definitely they are not the bomb they used to be in the past. I remember almost any big site had a online community, now having Facebook or twitter page is the essential for interaction with visitors. Still there are many good, lively forums, some that doesn't even have a website around them.

Different things, I don't see why they ahve to compete. I can find something to do in both.

Woah! that alot for one forum this only proves that forums are not going anywhere anytime soon as kavin said it depends on the administration/staff who run the forum
