Forums that cater for blogs as well

Right fellow FP members, I would like to know which forums also cater for Blogs as well as forums, in terms of services and advertising.

Forum Promotion does and some others do as well. If you ask about it on a site then they might let you use the service for a blog but most sites don't say they do because they forgot that there is a market for it too.
 
Well obviously FP does.....

It seems to be a niche that no one has really exploited. If someone with the knowledge and experience they could have a decent forum with plenty of potential.

It just seems advertising blogs is not as easy as a forum.
 
Someone did a blog promotion forum before and it didn't go too well.

If you go and look for a forum that might and then ask, you'll have your answer.

Although most are not as big as FP, so obviously, FP is your best option.
 
The reason I asked is most admins promote here so they can provide the info 😛

I know someone did one before but why that failed is it was not done right.
 
There used to be a blog promotion site. Not sure if it still exists but you could check up on it if you wanted.

If there isn't I am sure I, or another FP member can create a site/forum like this for blogs.

Although our primary focus is forums, we dont disallow discussions of blogs and websites.
 
It would have been more help to link to those exact section rather than a general link to the board 😉
 
Any forum with an advertising section will most likely allow you to advertise your blog.

Not many offer things like "Comment Packages" or other blog-specific things.
 
The best way to promote is to get involved on forums or sites were there are people on it looking for the content that your blog has to.

"Specific promoting"

Promoting were you know people are who like what you got on your own site.

Thus find blogs or forums about the same genre, join them post on them, make new friends or just use the old signature trick.

On blogs make alot of comments that are not spam with a link in the url field.

That and common promotion on forums is the best way.

Also tweaking your blog SEO wise is a smart move as well.

I already knew all that, people forget I ain't some spotty faced kid who is clueless when it comes to SEO and getting your site out there etc. :roll:

All I asked was a simple question which was "Does anyone one know of decent admin/promotion sites that allow advertising and offer services. Not once did I ask for basic lessons in advertisng and promoting your blog 😛

you just happen to be the topic author of this one. I have read all the replies and saw you didn't get any response you wanted to get. So I replied to but didn't really think about your question when writing the reply.
