Forums Update!

Keeping up with our pattern of an update per day (wow, things are moving fast now!), I'm pleased to announce that we have a few forum changes.

For starters, our "Managing Online Forums & Websites" category has been moved higher on the index. While our "Member to Member" sections are equally important, we would love to put a higher emphasis on providing webmaster-based discussion and resources.

In addition, we have split "Graphic Design & Webmaster Forum" into "Development Discussion" and "Graphic & Web Design." While few topics of discussion can intercept both forums, we feel that this will provide easier access to members with specific questions or discussions regarding coding and languages versus graphic and web design questions.

A special thanks to Gray for helping split and move many posts today!

We expect a few more forum updates in the future, so keep a look out! 🙂

Shouldn't be better to focus on more important bug fixes instead of non-visible things which 86% people wouldn't ever notice.

I completely understand how this bug may be annoying, as well as some of the other bugs we suffer from. However, they are currently preparing for a very high-load upgrade that will eliminate the need to fix bugs like this. 🙂

While I would generally agree with you here, these were two forums that really didn't make sense to be together. Our main goal is still to minimize the index size, but still provide a sensible forum selection. We're still working on it!

Fowler, I generally tend to agree with you, and I think many share this opinion. As TF said, this is in discussion. 😉

I do agree very much so. Could eliminate a "not so popular services" and add some sub forums? That should clean the place up a bit.
