Forums without a quick reply?

I am a member of one such forum that doesn't have Quick Reply (it's still using the last version of PHPBB2) but as for that, I like Quick Reply, because if you have to post and run, that's the best way to do it. It's really easy, and from my standpoint, it's a must for any forum, no matter what the genere is.

I dunno how some forum admins can think the QR is not needed. An old forum I was on the admin thought it was ugly and was a lazy way for users to post quickly.

How can the person think that's "lazy?" Some of us only have so much time for posting, while still others have limited computer time all together! So again, the quick reply is a must, and it definetly is not lazy at all. Being lazy is more like using that l33t sp33k text or whatever that's called.

I get my oxygen supply from the quick reply! 😛 Hate boards that don't have it, because then you often forget what all the other stuff in the thread was that you wanted to reply to. Annoying...I belong to one of those, but only basically because it's one of the largest RPG directory forums and I get some traffic from it.

but I've posted on quite a few sites who don't have it yet.

If a forum doesn't have quick reply I normally don't stay.

Hate them. Waiting for the reply page to open is annoying.

I prefer "very quick replies" that use AJAX to instantly post your reply once you click "post."
I usually don't see many forums that don't have it.
