FOTM on all types of forum

Should FOTM on promotion forum only? or even graphic forum and other type?

I would personally only think a Promotion forum and probably even a webmaster forum as a graphics forum would have maybe a SOTM contest or something like that and other forums, well I dunno why have it if your users are there to discuss for example runescape? Or something along those lines.

It depends. If you want it, then add it. However, it may not be much of a good idea as not many people will care about it. We've only released our SOTM since we have almost 1000 topics and 200 members so there will be requests. Don't think about doing this if your forum has a very low amount of members or they hardly show up.

I think it should only be on a promotion forum.

I think forum of the month will only be good on a Webaster or Promotion forum. Although I have heard of hosting sites doing this too for their clients, so I don't know. But definetly Promotion forums or Webmaster forums would be your best bet there. It would seem silly to do a Forum of the Month on a general chat board, unless you wanted to do that as a little extra or something different.
