This is a feel good movie with the humor essayed by Chevy Chase as the bumbling detective Tony Carlson who is out to prevent the assassination plot on the Pope. Goldie Hawn is Gloria Mundy, a typical librarian whose quiet life had shifted into an adventure of sorts when she got involved with the detective’s mission. I think this is movie made Chevy Chase a star on his own right. Not to forget, the theme song Ready To Take A Chance again by Barry Manillow was also a hit.
