FP Bots

So, I've been posting around here a bit, as you've noticed, and quite a few bots jumped on me around the same time. I think it's obvious to say that the bots came in through FP lol

They seem to be mostly hitting /topics/ which is currently /, probably not a surprise. The routes are being renamed right now, so they're a little messy looking.

Sniffing the UAs gives me this, mostly pretending to be Linux and Android. As for browsers, they mostly claim to be Chrome and Chrome for Android.

The times definitely line up (ignore the labels, I really should get around to fixing those), very interesting. 166 unique IP Addresses, very curious. Have you encountered something similar?

I personally haven't, but I have had someone try to perform an annoying "performance scan" or my website by shoving down 1.4k unique IPs and seeing if the software/webhost would hold up or start to time out.

Even if they are from FP, I don't see an issue as long as it's not them registering and creating spam on your website.

I have admin activation on, they won't be producing spam lol
I just find it very interesting, especially since they all have a similar user agent.

If you're getting DDoS attacks on your site, then Cloudflare might be able to help you with that.
