⭕ Q & A session ⭕
Dear @CodyCool , It is curious to find that in the hardware section, you have a subforum on mobiles, but in the software section, there is no mobile softwares like Android or iOS. Why is that?

Do you have more questions? Do you want to help @CodyCool give an honest review or a suggestion to help MindsConnected? Go ahead and reply to this topic.

:aussiecongaparrot: Here is an interesting insight into MindsConnected :aussieparrot:
  • MC recently changed hands to a new owner and you can see the potential of the forum. Big changes round the corner!
  • MC has two beautiful themes - MC 2.0 and Web of Light, which can be changed using the theme changer in the bottom left.

📆 Stay tuned for more 📆

As original owner of the forum, I'll answer this... at the time I created the forum sections, I only had physical mobile devices in mind, and that mobile OSes can be conversed about under Software. Perhaps an entirely new subforum on mobile technology where hardward and software aspects can be discussed? But ultimately, that's Cody to decide.

Also, mC 2.0 can be changed via the buttons at the top right corner (for light/dark variant and colour picker).

Furthermore, I didn't want this forum to be featured (more so when I was the one running the place) but now I can let it slide given that it had recently changed hands 🙂

One other thing though... the banner image is broken. Use this instead:

I replaced the banner image with the one you provided. Thank you!

@CodyCool what are the pros and cons of forum ownership of this kind?

The pros are that I get to take over ownership of and established forum that already has members and post to build on.

The cons are trying to get people to join and finding the staff that we need for the forum.

The first part, definitely. Too many people are engrossed with social media these days and that not many of them are even interested in forums, with some thinking that they're a thing of the past.

Even I struggled to get people join it when I used to promote it on a daily basis with Mastodon and Bluesky, until I ditched both accounts and since Cody took over.
