Here is what @Shortie_ told us:
I decided to revive Chat Addicts in memory of my Dad, who passed away on the 29th of July 2025. He used to help me run Chat Addicts from 2009 - 2017, and we would often spend time together working on Chat Addicts as well as his forums, helping one another.

It feels right to revive Chat Addicts now, not only in memory of my dad but also because it was something I was very proud of, and I know I can achieve those goals and more again.
Here is an interesting event going on on Chat Addicts 
We have a Halloween area to chat all things Halloween, the forum can be found at here
