Well, first off, I'm Irish (let me get that out there) so I'm totally infuriated by this.
Henry's handball is what basically got France to South Africa - blatant cheating. Not only that but he waited until after the game before he stood up and admitted it. His attitude sums up that of most soccer players ''I'm not the ref, don't blame me''.
As Paul Hayward of the Guardian Newspaper put it:
So yeah, if Ireland had been legitimately beaten I wouldn't be so angry. After all, despite that this was our best soccer team since 2003, France had the skill to beat us. This cheating has robbed us of a victory that could have been ours. We could have won in the Stade de France. Now we will never know what could have happened.

So while it's quite right to be outraged by this cheating, don't think for a second any of your players are hard done by here. It just goes to show what modern day footballers are really like. 😳
I don't blame Henry, if it was myself or Keane at the other end of the pitch we'd have done the same thing. It's up to the referee to see these things.

That is the whole problem with the damn game. It's turned into a competition about who can cheat the best.
I only watch Gaelic Football and Rugby these days. Gaelic is going the same way (albeit gradually), but Rugby has a video referee which makes considerably harder.

If any of you play football you will know what its like on the pitch. Do what you ccan to win. We had someone score with a handball for my local club that I play for, none of the other team were annoyed with the player, only the ref. Its part of the game now, people will do whatever they can to win.
No point in getting worked up about it, your just unlucky it happened to your team.
