I have Avast 5 free, should I get anything else that will be compatible with Avast 5 plus future Avast updates?

Avg free?
Spybot Search & Destroy?
Ad Aware? - i think thats the name?

etc...

You should only run one antivirus. I recommend the free versions of Spybot, SuperAntiSpyware, Malwarebytes.

You can also use Threatfire and WinPatrol to protect your computer from unknown viruses.

Immunet is a good cloud antivirus which works a long side your regular antivirus for enhance protection.

I heard good things about Comodo Firewall and Sandboxie as well.

1. So I'm good with Avast 5 free over AVG free then right?

2. So what should I add, if anything, alongside my Avast 5 free...

3. Spybot free?
4. Ccleaner?

Oh sorry, Spybot is free. I meant the free versions of MalwareBytes, and SuperAntiSpyware and scan your PC for spyware at least once a week.

The paid version of WinPatrol Plus is also pretty good at stopping unknown viruses and Malware.

CCleaner is good. I use it all the time. I also use BleachBit and Glary Utilities.

Avast 5 is a pretty good antivirus. But, for some reason it slowed down my internet speed, so I went back to AVG 9.

Get Comodo Firewall. IT mixed with Avast and Maleware bytes rules.

I have not had one problem with malware ever since.

Thanks guys, I know I can count on you whenver I pop in here 😎
