Hey guys, I want a .com or .net domain, but I don't have the money, and I don't like domains like .tk, .co.nr, .co.cc those kinds of names. Isn't there like a post 2 host site thingy where I can get a domain from? Not anything like GoDaddy... unless they offer free hosting or something? I want something like what people say DNTemple was, but I went to that site and the account was suspended. Help!

A domain is approximately 100 posts, and you have complete control over the nameservers. The site has been up for over 6 years.

I'll have to check that out. I have been dying to get a .net domain, but they're expensive sometimes, so that's perfect for me. Thanks.

If you do decide to join there, PM me as getting the hosting account and forum account unified can be difficult. Thanks.

Yeah, I'll send you a PM. It's not letting me make my first post for some reason. At any rate, I want to spend time working on my forum right now, and I'll worry about the domain later. A domain is just a domain, after all.

Chris: I already found a place to host my forum that I'm happy with right now. All I'll need in a little while is a domain. Not looking for a forum host, as I found one.

Ashley, it won't let me PM you here, so I'll post here.

If you confirmed your email, it should let you post. There are a few places that you have to be at a certian post level to post in. If you can't post in introductions, PM OpaQue, one of the admins.

Oh, you know what, I think I turned PMs off for members here, yeah, I'll post the administrator over there and find out what's going on. Don't know why it won't let me do so much as an introduction.

I'm going to have to find someplace else, Kiristute. That site is having too many problems for me, and I'm getting mad. I think it's the browser I'm using, because I don't have as many problems with other sites, even my own. But I'm going to go elsewhere, because I'm having too many problems. All for a domain. Wow.
