In all honesty, it doesn't matter if I jump to a conclusion or not.

Giving out "free" domains when the contest host site doesn't have a proper domain itself is an obvious bogus lie, despite whether or not the owner is going to buy his/her own domain sometime "soon" for the site.

On another note, why bother even launching the contest (let alone the forum itself) when you don't even have a domain yet? Just doesn't make sense.

I admit I didn't read that, but I believe my point still stands. How can he be so sure and so confident to give out a free domain every month, when he didn't have a proper domain for his own forum at the start?
 
Maybe he has a job and can afford $10 a month?

Some forums will start on free domains, not every good site will start on a TLD domain. Give him some room to breathe and to at least start up. You can't say you never at least started a forum on a free domains, neither can I.
 
I know, who knows, maybe right now, the Name Servers or Cname are configuring 😉

Anyway, let DevilKid do the talking (I've only said from what I have seen 🙂)

Some people are different, but some people like to start-up on free domains just to make sure that the forum will succeed instead of buying the domain for $10 and then it not working out. I can understand both ways, it really doesnt matter to me whether the domain is free hosted or not. If the site is interesting, then I'm going to stay, domain is usually last on my list to look at. Content is more important in my opinion.

Sorry guys, I should've been more clearer. I am using a free domain as I want to save up money to give out domains to people. Once I save enough for myself I will be buying my own domain.

Again, sorry for the confusion.
