Hi all,
I'm in the process of developing a website (free of charge) for a community centre in the UK. We need a colourful, inviting and professional logo designed. I wondered if any of the good folk on here would like to give it a shot. We want as many different ideas and designs as possible.
The community centre is an old 'oasthouse' (used for drying hops) and granary, so the building has two of those distinctive conical shapes atop the roof common to Kent. Ideally, the logo should include this shape, but that is not essential. The logo will be used for the website as well as signs up and around the centre.
The text for the logo is: "Rainham Oast Community Centre". Below is a basic outline of the shape of the conical roofs, you can find more on Google.

I can't offer any financial incentive, but, if your design is chosen, you'll have the centre's eternal gratitude and I'm sure they'll be happy to give you a 'shout-out' on their social media channels (with a reach of a few thousand), and you'll have the satisfaction of supporting a good cause.
Many thanks and if you have any questions, do reply here or drop me a line.
