My company, Bitcove Web Development, is looking to jump into web hosting. However, before we can do anything serious, we need to run our numbers. The best way we can think to do this is to provide demo accounts on our current setup, to monitor usage stats. If this is something that isn't feasible for us long term, we won't do anything beyond this point.
We are looking for 3 people to test our demo accounts. Since we are not a "launch ready" host, don't expect anything fancy. We are running Direct Admin and we do not have a webpage up at the default domain. The account specs for starting is as follows;
Disk: 500MB
Transfer: 1GB
MySQL DB: 1
Of course these are extremely small, and if everything goes fine we will look to increase these totals. We are hosted offshore, but for this test we will limit exactly what gets hosted. There is to be no warez hosting directly, linking is fine. Also note that although we have the ability to host nulled scripts, they are NOT allowed during this demo test.
Our goal is simply to learn what resources will be needed to host X number of clients. If all goes extremely well, we will look into expanding.
