Does anybody know a free quality phpbb skin that is easy to customize and will be good for hosting?

I think that any of these three would make nice hosting forum themes - Link and link and link. But that's just from my eye 😉

When you say "easy to customize", how well are you at coding? There are a few basic skins, which are simple enough to easily recode and make it look better. Themes which have had more and more changes to coding structure may not be as easy, and may not work with certain MODs, if the coding is scrambled enough to be undetectable.

I suck at coding. I am a complete newbie. I will also accept to pay FP for a custom skin. Also, do you think the skin on here simp2h.com is good?
