Free Search Engine Submission

i got a couple things in the mail that wanted money or were nothing but it submits to several search engines quickly

Yep.. I have also used that website to promote my forum/blog/website. It has worked sometimes but I guess it all depends on the traffic you get because if your website is about.. lets say promotion forum then it would take long for them to come up to the first page because there's a lot of promotion websites already out there (like FP 😉) So overall its a good tool but it would take time before it brings traffic to your website.

So let's see if I got this straight: Basically you'll get more traffic based on whether or not your site is "in demand?" I know there aren't too many general chat forums out there right now, so would I probably get more traffic as those aren't really in demand at the moment? Am I getting that right?

Or in other words, you'd get bots, loads of unwanted bots from all over the web.

I would suggest that doing this once in a while is good and not to look for to many sites to keep doing this though. Many of these search submit sites normally all connect to the same places and if you over submit, you can quickly find your site off search pages, just as easily as you tried to add them.

I read few months back that it is better to manually submit your site to search engine.
