In celebration of the new theme, Azent, and Forum Promotion's recent convert to phpBB 3.1, the Editorial, Package and Administrative Teams have decided to hold a free Service Weekend! Yes, you read that right, Free Service.

How Will This Work?

Starting Saturday, June 27 at 12:01 AM EST and ending Sunday, June 28th at 11:59 PM EST, all services (excluding the Advanced Review, Meticulous Review, and Kappa Package) are absolutely free. There will be absolutely no cost to you as long as you use the voucher code which will be found at the end of this Announcement.

Rules and Procedures of Free Service Weekend:

• You may request as many services as you wish during the weekend for as many sites as you'd like (i.e. you can request a Featured Ad, a Review and a Package and ALL of them will be free).
• Wait times do not apply during this promotion. You may request as many services as you wish, and already existing wait times can be bypassed during this event. However, you may not request more than one of the same service, and if you already have a service in progress it must be completed before you request it again. All wait times for services requested before and during this promotion will apply again after this event is over.
• Your request MUST be made during the listed times. This offer does NOT apply to services you've already requested.
• You MUST use the code NewFPTheme in the notes to your request, or else you will be charged for the request.

Services You May Request:

• Posting Packages (Kappa Package is excluded)
• Community Reviews (Only including the Standard Review and Feedback Topic).
• Advertising Services (all services are included).

Wait times do not apply during this promotion. You may request as many services as you wish, and already existing wait times can be bypassed during this event. However, you may not request more than one of the same service, and if you already have a service in progress it must be completed before you request it again. All wait times for services requested before and during this promotion will apply again after this event is over.

This means if you request a package today, it must be completed before you request another package tomorrow (which would be free). 🙂

That means if you request a service today (and it gets accepted), it must be completed before your eligible for a free service tomorrow.

So basically you can only request one thing at a time. You cannot request a review, package, and advertisement all at the same time?

Devin, you can request a review, package, and other services at the same time. You cannot request a review/package/etc. for the same site at the same time. The service must be completed before you can request the same service again. I encourage you to re-read the OP to fully understand the process. 🙂

I'm just plain confused now

So it says this - you may not request more than one of the same service

Does this mean - 1) I can request one package now, it gets completed, I can request another package, it gets completed, if there is time I can request another package.
2) I can request ONLY ONE posting package for the whole weekend, ONE ADVERTISEMENT for the whole weekend etc.

kingcool, #1 is more accurate.

If you request a package right now, the PT will start it. If it is completed in time, you can request another package on Saturday/Sunday and not have to follow the wait time from today's package or pay for the new package either. The same goes for standard reviews from the ET, though it's honestly less likely that a review will be completed in time since it takes more time to write a thorough review of a site.

If you want to take advantage of the sale and not complicate things, just wait to request your package/review/service till Saturday or Sunday (in the times mentioned in the OP) and get it free. If you already have a service in progress, you can hope it is completed in time - if not, you won't be able to request that service. You can use this free offer on a package, review and the ad services - with the limitations/exclusions mentioned in the OP.
