Free to Be Us is a brand new inclusive community that is a safe space for those part of the LGBTQ community. We welcome and encourage others who aren't part of the community to join as well, to learn from our community and just to have a good time. I wanted to make a safe community for all of us since social media isn't a good place for those in the LGBTQ community these days. Because we're a marginalized group, all members who join are automatically placed in the "Newly Registered Users" group until they make one post on the forum for the safety of our members. The first 10 members who join our community will be placed in our "Early Birds" group, members in this group get a private lounge where site updates are posted and discussed before they go live! The private lounge can be used to discuss topics you don't wish to be leaked out to the public as well! Even if you register after the first ten spots are taken, please reach out to me if you want your own private lounge and I can arrange that! I hope to see you all there! 🙂

I like the skin/theme! I like the simplicity of the layout as well - it's self explanatory! The only thing I would recommend is a different banner - if at least centered that would be awesome!

I like phpBB still but just found that the add-ons and such were lacking.

Thank you all for your feedback. 🙂 I just installed a reaction extension! I also fixed the simple mentions bug where it wouldn't show up in quick reply. Later I will be adding new logo designed by @Maul and some forum ranks. There's still time to join and become a early bird member! We have six members with over 80 posts already. I'll be looking for a light theme soon too for those who prefer light themes. We welcome all people to join.

Interesting forum, and nice to see phpBB getting used again.

I would suggest changing the registered users group colour though, it's purple on purple and impossible to see with your current style.

I've changed the color of the Early Birds usergroup to pink so hopefully it shows up better now. 🙂 We just made it to over 200 posts just within a few days of opening. 😀 Thank you all for your support so far!
