When you subscribe to a new video streaming service, like Netflix or Amazon, does anyone just sign up for the free trial? Most of these sites ask for your credit or debit card details and will auto-renew unless cancelled.
Do you always opt-in for a period of no charge first?
I don't bother with tail games. Meaning you spend so much time downloading and then get to play for 30mins to an hour with very limited options in the game. Then again isn't 2005 😛
I tend to read reviews and read about it before I give it a shot. With steam, if you do not like it, at least you have just under two hours of game time then get a refund.
I'm one of those people where I go for the free trials. If I really like the service (like Amazon Prime) then I continue on. I try not to sign up for too many though because that can easily make someone go broke with so many services out there lol.
I don't normally enrol onto free trials unless I'm 100% going for the service - usually too much of a hassle (or I'm just too forgetful 😳) cancelling them.
I mostly stay away from the free 30 day trials unless I plan on using it. Once I forgot that I had Amazon Prime, because I took the trial, and they took out close to 30 bucks. I'm not doing that again.
