We’ve got two great interviews up on Forum Flare that dive into what it really takes to build and maintain online communities in today’s ever-changing forum landscape.

First, Uncrowned Guard shares insights on building the Uncrowned Empire, focusing on purpose, identity, and standing out in a crowded space:

Then, Ashley from Chatting Time talks about her nearly 20-year journey with forums, the challenges of keeping communities active, and whether forums are evolving or fading away:

Two different perspectives, one shared passion—forums and community building.

Which interview resonated with you more? Or do they both hit home in different ways?

Thanks again, @Gizmo — really appreciate you taking the time to put this together. It was a lot of fun to chat about the Uncrowned projects and the journey behind them. I might’ve gotten a little winded in a few spots, but once I start talking about community building and the Empire, it’s hard to hit the brakes.

Seriously, though, thanks for the opportunity. Always happy to share the story and hopefully give other admins a bit of insight or inspiration along the way.
